It’s a toner, it’s a lotion – it’s an aftershave balm!
NEW 4oz SIZE!!
There are TONS of options out there for post-shave care. From an aftershave splash to straight witch hazel, from aloe balms to shea butter lotions – the number of products men use to soothe the face and close their pores after ripping off a layer of skin is staggering. After months
lurking scouring the Badger & Blade boards and harassing our testers to shave more than anyone should, Soap & Clay is happy to announce the newest addition to men’s facial care: aftershave balm!
This aftershave balm is thicker than a splash but lighter than a lotion and has antiseptic, astringent, moisturizing, healing, soothing, and anti-inflammatory properties. It’s also great for acne and ingrown hairs. Here’s a rundown of awesomeness:
- Witch Hazel removes debris from pores and prevents razor burn
- Aloe Vera reduces inflammation, heals nicks and soothes skin
- Glycerin acts as a toner, treating acne and lightening scars
- Essential Oil blend encourages cell turnover and healing
- Coconut oil and shea butter hydrates and protects skin
The end product is lightweight and non-greasy with an essential oil blend that will continue working its skin magic long after you’ve left the sink. Plus, the blend leaves a pleasing, masculine scent.
Directions for use: For best results, shave immediately following a shower. Using your favorite shave soap (we recommend this one), get your shave on. Rinse and pat dry. Shake Aftershave Balm well and tip a bit (pea to quarter sized) into the palm of your hand. Apply to entire face, even the bits that didn’t get shaved. Get on with your day while the balm’s ingredients continue to protect, soothe, hydrate and repair.
NOTE: Witch hazel has a very unique scent; some men quite enjoy it, others not so much. This scent dissipates quickly, leaving behind the essential oil blend. Treat your aftershave balm like you would a good scotch and let it breathe.
