Soap, the great equalizer. Is it? Sure, why not! Hey, we all need to get clean. Otherwise we’re the degenerate, disease spreading social outcasts that nobody will talk to or invite for coffee because we smell bad. Now, one would assume that all soaps are created equal, right? WRONG! Commercial soaps are made with cheap ingredients and a slew of detergents, animal byproducts and preservatives that dry out the skin and leave behind a film that clogs our pores and makes us cranky. And itchy (because of the dry skin). What’s more, most commercial soap companies remove the glycerin (AKA the good stuff) from their bar soaps before packaging and selling, which they then use to make high end, expensive skin care products, leaving us with nothing but dry skin and clogged pores as a way of thanking us for our dollars. Laaaaaaaame.
At Soap & Clay, we don’t use fillers, detergents, or preservatives in our soap. Each bar of artisan soap we produce is handmade with the finest botanical ingredients, high quality essential oils and fragrances, skin-friendly exfoliants (no plastic micro-beads here!) and softeners. We also leave all of that wonderful, moisturizing, skin soothing glycerin in our product. Really! So love your skin, respect your skin, and try one of our awesome bars. Your skin will thank you. If it, you know, could talk. After experiencing a Soap & Clay bar, maybe it will.
Soap & Clay soap will not make your skin talk. We aren’t Level Awesome magicians over here; we’re soapers. Stop acting weird.
